Overview of all Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Costumes

So yeah, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (or SSF2THDR for short) was released a few days ago. Each Character has a total of 9 Costumes, and I think it would be nice to have an Overview of them all. Note that the costumes only affect visual style and has no affect on gameplay. Also note that these screenshots were taken from HD Remixed Mode, but I don't think that anyone would want to choose the old graphics anyway 🙂

The costumes are activated by one of these 9 button presses:

• Jab Punch
• Strong Punch
• Fierce Punch
• Short Kick
• Forward Kick
• Roundhouse Kick
• Start
• Hold any Punch
• Hold any Kick

And here is the list of all 146 Costumes, sorted by Characters:

• Ryu and Ken
• Chun-Li and E.Honda
• Blanka and Zangief
• Guile and Dhalsim
• Dee Jay and Cammy
• T. Hawk and Fei Long
• Balrog and Sagat
• Vega, M. Bison and Akuma

In case you want to know, here are my personal favorite Costumes:

• Ryu: Short Kick. I like the Orange with the Blue Headband. Forward Kick is also not too bad.
• Ken: Start or Fierce Punch. The Yellow Gi is awesome, but it does not work well with the blonde hair.
• Chun-Li: Hold Punch. As she is female, Lavender actually works here.
• Guile, E. Honda and Zangief: Jab Punch. Not that much difference anyway, so I'll stick with their default colors.
• Blanka: Fierce Punch. I like Orange and Purple.
• Dhalsim: Hold Kick. Makes him look like a VooDoo Priest or Necromancer.
• Dee Jay: Hold Punch.
• Cammy: Forward Kick. The blue suits her better than the default green.
• T. Hawk and Fei Long: Jab Punch. I think their default colors work best.
• Balrog: Fierce Punch. Makes him look more aggressive.
• Vega: Roundhouse Kick.
• Sagat: Roundhouse Kick.
• M. Bison: Hold Punch. Looks a bit like a Marvel Comic Character (Cyclops)
